Our story

Commercial insurance has fallen behind - using slow, dated, and antiquated processes. Nirvana began in 2021 to modernize the commercial insurance industry by harnessing the amounts of data produced from IoT/telematics to better serve our customers. The insights in that data are used to supply customers a competitive edge, coach them towards safer behavior, and reward them with discounts on insurance.

Today, our technology platform delivers modern insurance and risk management to not only help our customers protect their businesses, but actually improve safety for everyone on the road. We’re growing rapidly with a globally distributed team that’s transforming the $1T+ commercial insurance industry.

Comprehensive insurance

We provide a variety of medical, dental, and vision plan options to choose from as well as voluntary life/AD&D, company‐paid basic life/AD&D plan, short‐term disability and long‐term disability coverage. Plans and offerings vary by country.

HSA and FSA

With HSA and FSAs, employees can set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for medical, prescription drug, dental and vision related expenses. In addition, Nirvana offers an employer match when an employee enrolls in an HSA.

Paid parental leave

We provide all of our team members (birthing & non-birthing parents) paid time off to care for and bond with their newborn or newly adopted children. Coverage varies by country.
